丹尼尔 Dunn is the Assistant Vice President and Director of Communications and Marketing for the Division of Enrollment Management at the University of Oklahoma. 丹尼尔 leads a team who are responsible for the communication and marketing efforts to prospective students and their families. This includes communicating important information about OU’s admission process, recruitment, scholarships, financial aid, and marketing materials for domestic and international prospective students, including both transfer and incoming freshmen. 丹尼尔 and her team also work directly with OU’s colleges to market the academic brand and OU’s mission to prospective students.
丹尼尔 graduated summa cum laude with a degree in telecommunications and an emphasis in political science from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. She then earned her MBA from the University of Oklahoma.
Before coming to OU, 丹尼尔 did public relations work for The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital in Bethany, Oklahoma. She helped promote the construction of the Hospital’s newest four-story addition, and coordinated all the media requests both on a national and local level. On average, 丹尼尔 handled 25 earned media stories per month.
Previously, 丹尼尔 worked as a television reporter and anchor for KOKH-TV in Oklahoma City. As a reporter, 丹尼尔 covered many national stories, including the 2013 Moore Tornado and the 2015 Daniel Holtzclaw trial, and conducted over 10,000 live TV appearances. Before coming to OKC, 丹尼尔 worked for the NBC affiliate in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and the ABC affiliate in Casper, Wyoming.
